Senior Research Support Specialist ANNOUNCEMENT OF NON- PROFESSIONAL VACANCY Applications are invited for consideration to the following position Department: Medicine Budget Title: Senior Research Support Specialist Salary Range: (Based Upon Experience)$60,000.00 Descriptive Title:Program Manager Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week. Vacancy 24-33 Description of Duties: -Manage Director's schedule, correspondence, follow-ups, and work related to CVD Summer Institute. -Coordinate PRIDE-CVD Summer Institute activities with Program Coordinator daily and Manage with SRP Subcontracting paperwork with RF and trainee institutions. -Schedule and attend CVD Summer Institute meeting, including weekly local and monthly national Summer Institute conferences. -Follow-up on agenda action items to ensure completion and Assist in monitoring budget for grant. -Correspond with interested applicants and assist with application process and collect required documents, and follow-up with mentees and mentors. -Liaison with speakers, mentors, and CVD Summer Institute scholars and planning for next year-s Summer Institute and Annual Program Conference in conjunction with NIH Annual Conference meeting. -Arrange travel and housing accommodations for Director, trainees, and speakers. -Arrange space, AV needs, library services, meals and other sundries related to Summer Institute. Assist with logistics and daily operations during the two-week Summer Institute. -Finalize lodging arrangements, arrange transportation and coordinate with catering staff for guest speakers and trainees for two-week Summer Institute. -Manage contracts and submit invoice for payment for services rendered for Summer Institute and Finalize program booklet .
