- Act as an initial point of contact for team members providing tier 1 and tier 2 technical support to include computers, software, phone, and peripherals.
- Utilize and maintain helpdesk ticketing software (Quest Kace) for documenting and completing daily operational requests to meet SLA requirements
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (docking station, keyboard, mice, printers, etc.)
- Add, modify, and maintain department KB documentation, including inventory of equipment and software.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve software and hardware issues
- Support team member systems within the corporate environment, maintaining desktop standards, imaging computers, creating desktop images, and building desktop management scripts with a systems management appliance
- Support Events team with troubleshooting AV equipment when necessary
- Onboard new team members with IT hardware and documentation
- Troubleshoot and assist with maintaining VMware environment
- Troubleshoot and assist with maintaining LAN/WAN connections
- Consistently evaluate procedures to increase security and efficiency in IT daily operations
- Maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures
- Provide end user training for systems, procedures, and company policies
- Lead projects that will deploy new or enhance existing IT systems.
- Serve as on-call IT support on a weekly rotation monthly
- Periodically work off hours (nights and weekends) to complete planned operations or project work
- Assist IT leadership in planning and managing budgetary goals for IT projects
- Occasionally install, terminate, and test data cables for IT projects
- Contribute to the overall success of Spooky Nook Sports by performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or approved equivalent combination of education and experience
- A positive and friendly attitude towards guests, customers, and fellow employees
- Ability to safeguard confidential information
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision
- Demeanor to remain calm in tense or stressful situations
- Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V and/or VMWare)
- Experience managing Active Directory environments
- Experience managing Microsoft 365
- Understanding of basic networking concepts and best practices
- Experience with LAN and WAN infrastructures
- Must be extremely detailed with outstanding communication skills
- Ability to follow directions both written and verbally
- Outstanding demonstration in meeting strict deadlines
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting IT problems
- Experience with Hyperconvergence (Nutanix)
- Experience with Aruba/Cisco networking
- Capability to multi-task multiple projects/duties at once
- Significant computer support experience
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical requirements necessary include walking, standing, bending, lifting, sitting, reaching, and typing on a computer for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
