**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)**Job Specialty:** Emergency Room (ER) - Critical Need**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Night - 3x12 - 7 pm - 7 am (36 Hours)**Guaranteed Hours:** 40**Experience:** 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience**License:** Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)**Certifications:** - Basic Life Support (BLS)- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire**Must-Have:** - ACLS Certification**Preferred Qualifications:**- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC)- Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias- NIH Stroke Scale Certificate**Job Description:**- Provide high-quality patient care in an emergency room setting.- Respond quickly and efficiently to medical emergencies.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient needs.- Assess and triage patients based on severity of illness or injury.- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as required.- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and follow-up.- Uphold the highest standards of nursing practice and patient safety.This position is a critical need in the emergency room environment, offering an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes.
