Inventory Test Count Associate

Location: Nashville or Memphis, TN
LCG Advisors is looking for a part time Associate to conduct inventory test counts on a wide variety of clients. The test counts will either be stand alone or part of a full comprehensive engagement. Our client base includes Asset Based Lending shops in both Bank and non-Bank environments. We're tasked with performing sample inventory test counts over a wide range of manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors, importers, etc. This position is part time as demand dictates and is ideally suited for someone with previous ABL, commercial banking, auditor or accounting experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct inventory test counts at client locations for a wide variety of clients.
- Input examination findings into excel templates and produce a comprehensive written summary report for lenders describing the results, findings and any potential collateral risks uncovered during the test counts.
- Perform professional interaction with clients as well as LCG teammates, including calls and meetings.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 or more years ABL experience is preferred, not required
- Strong analytical skills with a willingness to learn new things
- Naturally inquisitive on all topics relating to transactions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
- Prolonged periods walking through warehouses, storage facilities, which could include refrigerated or freezer facilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Flexibility for travel to client locations.
- Pay is $450 per test count plus any associated out of pocket travel expenses.
