Operate CT scanner to produce patient images. Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring adherence to established techniques and safety protocols. Monitor patient well-being during procedures, explain standard protocols, and address patient concerns. Your work directly impacts patient care and contributes to our commitment to top-tier healthcare services.
About the Job:
- Under the direction of the Radiologist and Radiology Director, performs all CT procedures in accordance with ACR, State Regulations, and departmental policies.
- Technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues.
- Technologists must be able to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare, and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.
- The CT Technologist can perform the duties of an ARRT Technologist as required in addition to performing CT duties.
- ARRT Registered Technologist

- Current BLS from the AHA or ARC
