Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing project specifications, conducting site visits, and providing accurate estimates and bidding for electrical installations in automotive settings. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that projects are completed within budgetary constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to understand electrical requirements for installations.

2. Conduct site visits to assess project scope, identify potential challenges, and gather relevant information.

3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to determine project needs and goals.

4. Prepare detailed electrical estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

5. Utilize cost estimating software, historical data, and industry standards to accurately calculate project costs.

6. Identify and analyze potential risks, contingencies, and value engineering opportunities.

7. Collaborate with procurement teams to obtain competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors.

8. Prepare comprehensive and detailed proposals and bids for submission to clients.

9. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid negotiations as required.

10. Assist in project handover to the operations team by providing accurate documentation and cost breakdowns.

Requirements:

1. bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.

2. Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the auto industry OEM projects as well as Tesla experience a plus.

3. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations relevant to Aconex and construction/engineering a plus .

4. Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.

5. Proficiency in using electrical estimating software and other relevant tools.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

7. Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

8. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

9. Knowledge of procurement processes and ability to source and evaluate subcontractor quotes.

10. Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to work effectively within project timelines.
