Oracle DBA Engineer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Oracle DBA Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 6+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:
  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Database Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Database Engineering deliverables
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Database Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Database Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Database Engineering
  • 6+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 6+ years of Oracle database administration experience
  • 6+ years of experience with database engineering functions
  • 4+ years of PostgreSQL administration experience
  • 4+ years of experience with MongoDB, GoldenGate, or Yugabyte
  • 4+ years of performance tuning experience
  • Experience with monitoring databases regularly to check for any errors such as existing locks and failed updates
  • Experience leading and driving automation initiative


Pay Range: $60-70
