Sales Manager

Peirce-Eagle Equipment is seeking a Sales Manager for its Branchburg New Jersey office.

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Manager will be responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of products for Outside Sales. Increase income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing the sales process. Responsible for maximizing our sales team potential.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals.
  • Heavy equipment sales service.
  • Set individual sales targets.
  • Oversee the activities and performances of the sales team.
  • Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue.
  • Lead, Train and develop sales team.
  • Monitor and Manage sales CRM system.
  • Participate and help set up/ organize all tradeshows.
  • Manage all purchasing portals (Co-Ops registration/Bid submission)
  • Provide operational and mechanical training for end users.
  • Provide accurate and on time quotes.
  • Provide demonstrations-walk arounds and demos.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in equipment sales or similar position
  • Certifications: none required
  • Other required KSA (Knowledge, Skills Abilities): Customer service oriented, ability to meet sales goals and prospect, negotiate, and close sales. Ability to lead a team. Strong persistence in dealing with people. Able to manage territory effectively. Strong presentation skills and follow up skills, highly motivated. Proficiency in MS Office.


Travel Requirements: Office out of Branchburg location 70% of the time
