The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the logistical aspects of shipping and receiving goods. This role involves coordinating and managing the transportation of products, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. Effective communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this position.

How You'll Create Possibilities

  • Plan and coordinate shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.

  • Communicate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to schedule and track shipments.

  • Schedule freight shipments using the online portal.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, including bills of lading, shipping labels, and customs documentation.

  • Collect freight information or quotes for LTL, FedEx, and UPS shipments.

  • Monitor freight costs and seek opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service quality.

  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, warehouse, and customer service) to ensure seamless logistics

  • operations and provide updates on shipment statuses.

  • Proactively identify and address any issues that may arise during the transportation process.

  • Collaborate with relevant parties to find solutions and prevent future problems.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Previous experience in freight coordination or logistics preferred

  • Excellent communication, and writing skills.

  • Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent customer service and client relations skills.

  • Keep organization and time management skills.

  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in using logistics software and Microsoft Office.
