Role Highlights: As an Administrative/Human Resources Office Assistant, you'll play a vital role in keeping things running smoothly at our regional office. You'll handle various administrative tasks, ensure confidentiality, use Microsoft Office tools effectively, and assist in managing records. Collaborating with staff and the Regional Human Resources Coordinator will be a key part of your responsibilities. The Administrative/Human Resources Office Assistant will report directly to the Regional Human Resources Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize files, documents, and records confidentially.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquires.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Handle office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Will fill in for the Regional Human Resources Coordinator when needed.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to pass criminal/background checks
  • Obtain a clear tuberculosis screening
  • Hold a valid driver's license and possess vehicle insurance
  • Earn First Aid/CPR trainer certification (training provided)
  • Communicate positively and effectively
  • Exhibit excellent time management skills
  • Hold a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Embrace both independence and constructive feedback
  • Approach sensitive matters with tact and understanding
  • Foster a supportive atmosphere through Positive Practices
  • Fulfill all Support Services of Virginia training
  • Proficient in basic computer and math skills
Compensation: The Administrative/Human Resources Office Assistant position will have a rate of $16/hour.
