Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility of accounts payable cycle.
  • Management of employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit cards.
  • Responsible for weekly cash and cash related account reconciliations.
  • Assist with the month-end close process including preparing journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and applicable supporting balance sheet schedules.
  • Maintain adequate internal controls within the accounting processes to ensure well documented, accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Assist with preparing and/or gathering support for annual external audit and tax filings.
  • Work with finance team on a variety of ad-hoc projects, as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience in the consumer goods, apparel and/or manufacturing industries.
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in medium sized accounting systems such as NetSuite or similar system strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including data extraction and manipulation.
  • Well organized, strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in medium sized accounting system, NetSuite, or similar system strongly preferred.
  • Goal and deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize, focus, and thrive in a fast-paced multitasking environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related.
