Insurance Application Specialist

Job Summary:
The Insurance Application Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting client information into insurance systems and ensuring all documentation is complete, correct, and compliant with regulatory and company standards. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, persistent execution, and proficiency with data entry software and insurance platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately input, track and update insurance application data into company systems
* Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of submitted application documents
* Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation and data entries
* Maintain organized records of client applications and ensure timely processing
* Communicate with agents or clients to clarify application details or obtain missing information
* Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies
* Perform routine checks to ensure data integrity within the system
* Collaborate with underwriting, customer service, and internal teams to facilitate seamless processing of insurance applications
* Assist with training and mentoring new team members (when applicable)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred
* Previous experience in data entry, insurance, or administrative roles is a plus
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail and high accuracy
* Proficiency in using insurance platforms, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent organizational and time-management skills
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Familiarity with insurance policies, terminology, and regulatory requirements is an advantage
Work Environment:
* Standard office setting or remote work setup depending on company policies
* May involve occasional overtime to meet deadlines
