We are currently looking for candidates to fill a Custom Truck Accessories Assembly Technician role here at Highway Products. What You'll Do: Assemble a wide range of custom truck accessories, including aluminum boxes, pickup packs, truck slides, etc. We offer plenty of room for growth and in-house training programs, so come make a career with us
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare work by studying blueprints and work orders, assembling parts, tools, and materials.
- Secure components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
- Ensure proper fit and function of all parts, performing quality checks at various stages of the assembly process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Work collaboratively with fellow technicians and other team members to meet production goals. Report any potential issues or areas for improvement to supervisors.
- QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and enjoy working with your hands.
- Have basic manufacturing skills, including the ability to read blueprints and handle tools safely.
- Be a strong team player and can work effectively in a collaborative environment. Have a positive attitude and possess a safety-conscious mindset.
- Be physically able to lift heavy objects with minimal difficulty.
