RN - Inpatient Float Pool - Sign On Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Float Pool team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to assigned patients within various clinical specialties (PCU/ICU/ED etc.). As a role model, they will promote a positive work environment and quality patient care. The successful candidate will also ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Deliver safe direct care to an assigned group of patients as required
  • Implement individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations
  • Assist with special tests and procedures
  • Participate in orientation and training of new personnel
  • Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families
  • Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
  • Minimum of 1 year directly related experience
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
