Automation Analyst

The Automation Analyst will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency. This role will examine, create, and apply automation systems for different banking operations. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, minimize manual tasks, and improve the quality of services provided. This role demands a thorough knowledge of workflow, goals, and the connection between different functions to efficiently collect requirements. This role will help to develop, implement, and maintain the bank's applications and processes, while adhering to best practices and internal standards.
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
- Create and use applications that improve organizational productivity by simplifying workflows.
- Helps to improve and maintain applications on an ongoing basis.
- Provides expertise and guidance as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for applications.
- Conducts system testing for new or improved features, verifying the quality and performance of the functionality.
- Remains informed of the latest developments and improvements on application releases and enhancements.
- Assesses system performance metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for automation improvement and functionality enhancement. Write technical specifications, follow configuration guidelines, and adhere to Robotics Process Automation (RPA) solution standards.
- Produces periodic reports to verify the reliability, security, and efficiency of RPA applications.
- Perform various tasks and assignments as instructed by the supervisor
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Decision or Information Science or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of previous related experience.
- Knowledge of ESM/ITSM systems (HaloITSM) preferred.
- Knowledge of RPA processes (Power Automate) preferred.
- Knowledge of relational databases.
- Excellent technical knowledge of computer administration, data elements and codes, numerical analysis, programing techniques and equipment utilization.
- Ability to assess business issues and to interpret them into technological process improvements.
- Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented.
- Ability to relate complex material in "user friendly" manner.
- Strong critical thinking skills including utilizing logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Complex problem-solving skills including identifying and reviewing information to develop and evaluate and implement solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
