Intern, Software Development for Systems Engineering

Eligibility Requirements
  • Our internship program is remote based; however, the intern must be in the United States.
  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited college or university during the internship.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above (based on a 4.0 scale)
  • Available to work full time (40 hours/week) for the entire program (June 9th - August 29th).
  • Required to undergo a pre-employment background check.
Working closely with the department, the Intern will be responsible for the following tasks:
  • Participate on project teams to develop innovative, high-quality software solutions in an Agile development environment.
  • Implement automated testing cases.
  • Support implementation of software application changes
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be enrolled as a junior or senior in an undergraduate program or graduate student in computer science, computer engineering, or related area.
  • College-level experience with coding practices and languages (such as Node.js, Java, Python, or others)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and manage multi-dimensional projects.
  • Team oriented attitude that no job is too big or too small.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Such as AWS or Azure)
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks (such as ReactJS)
  • Knowledge of Agile software development project methodologies
