Arxada is looking for a Project Engineer II based in Conley, GA This is responsible for managing customer projects in the wood protection business. The Wood Engineering Team is part of the Commercial Team in Arxada's Wood Protection Business Unit.
Essential Job Functions:
- Research, design, or specify mechanical products, equipment, systems or processes to meet requirements.
- Prepare, present and explain proposals, reports, cost estimates and findings to clients
- Commission, monitor, evaluate, or inspect the installation of systems for compliance with design. Accommodate, adapt and introduce changes to the design as required.
- Troubleshoot equipment & processes
- Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in engineering projects.
- Utilize SAP to procure equipment and monitor project spending.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Civil engineering or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years process design experience in a manufacturing or chemical environment.
- SAP experience highly preferred
- Chemical process design, project management and wood treating experience a plus
- Knowledge of appropriate consensus standards. ASME VIII, ASME B31.3, ASCE 7. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.

Nutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.
