3Z Brands is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a visionary and dynamic Vice President of ECommerce Strategy to spearhead our merchandising strategy in the eCommerce sector. This senior leadership position offers the chance to collaborate with brand leaders to shape our product assortment and go-to-market initiatives, ensuring they align with our overarching business objectives. In this role, you will utilize your strategic insights and comprehensive knowledge of digital commerce to provide extraordinary customer experiences and drive sustainable growth. Your leadership will be pivotal in enhancing our eCommerce capabilities, addressing customer needs, and solidifying our core brand values of care, commitment, and curiosity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ecommerce Merchandising
  2. Create a diverse catalog of drop-ship partnerships to bolster our non-mattress product lines.
  3. Collaborate with brand leadership teams to formulate the mattress category roadmap, leveraging our manufacturing expertise.
  4. Communicate effectively regarding product development projects to cross-functional teams and senior leadership for successful market launches.
  5. Continuously evaluate the competitive landscape and spot emerging eCommerce trends to refine product strategies and boost digital performance.
  6. Data-Driven Decision Making
  7. Establish and analyze key performance metrics across our brand assortments.
  8. Interpret and synthesize business results to cultivate data-driven insights and actionable strategies.
  9. Scale successful approaches across multiple brands effectively.
  10. Vendor & Partner Management
  • Proactively seek new partnerships to foster innovation and expand our product portfolio.
  • Forge strong relationships with key suppliers, vendors, and third-party partners for timely and cost-efficient product delivery.
  • Ensure partner success through robust internal communication and collaboration.

Key Competencies & Skills:

  • Extensive leadership experience in eCommerce merchandising, ideally from a manufacturing or consumer goods background.
  • Deep understanding of online retail, including product assortment, customer segmentation, digital marketing, and conversion optimization.
  • Data-oriented mindset with proficiency in analyzing large datasets to enhance merchandising decisions and financial results.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact across departments and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience collaborating with external partners and vendors.
  • A passion for continuous learning and a proactive approach to embracing innovation and new ideas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Over 10 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, retail, or a related area, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ecommerce platforms, merchandising tools, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Experience in manufacturing settings or with direct-to-consumer business models is advantageous.
