We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with a strong background in financial services, particularly in capital markets, asset servicing, or asset management. This is a hands-on role where you will leverage your expertise to contribute to our projects in a collaborative environment.

Work Location: Client's Office in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Contract Duration: Long Term Contract

Visa Types Considered: GC, GC EAD, H1B, L2S

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 12 years of experience as a Software Developer or in a related software development role.

Key Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Core Java, Microservices, REST, and Test Driven Design.
  • Strong expertise in JavaEE, database development (Oracle, DB2), and front-end technologies.
  • Proficient in Object-Oriented design and development with a focus on clean, efficient, and testable code.
  • Solid experience in Java 11+, multithreading, Spring/SpringBoot, Hibernate/JPA.
  • Familiarity with Linux environments and message systems like IBM MQ and Kafka.
  • Experience in developing architecture for front-end and back-end applications.
  • Knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, XML, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with development tools such as Eclipse, Git, Gradle, Sonar, Jenkins, and Jira.
  • Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD model, and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current processes to identify gaps and propose optimal solutions.
  • Develop data models and process workflows illustrating current and future states.
  • Create detailed design and technical specification documents.
  • Hands-on experience with database schemas, packages, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies and migration projects.
  • Conduct performance tuning and ensure coding stability for long-term solutions.
  • Define consistent SQL standards and methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and collaborate with senior team members for long-term improvements.
