JOB PURPOSE:
The Inventory Specialist-Seasonal is responsible for managing inventory at Midco's Warehouse and Inventory facilities by accurately receiving in incoming shipments and picking and processing all outgoing shipments using inventory control systems to support internal and external customers.
KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and process all incoming and outgoing shipments by prepping, picking, loading, unloading, and securing the equipment.
- Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
- Accurately distribute equipment to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain, control, and organize Midco's inventory.
- Initiate timely and accurate requisition orders to replenish the inventory.
- Accurately key all inventory data with a high level of accuracy.
- Conduct accurate inventory cycle counts.
- Utilize the inventory system to maintain the inventory in an organized manner.
- Wear appropriate safety equipment including, but not limited to steel toe shoes, face guards, protective gloves, and aprons.
- Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco's Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
- Adhere to Midco's privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively communicate with other departments to handle escalating issues in a timely manner.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Work experience and knowledge of inventory or warehouse processes is preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL QUALIFICATOINS:
- The team member is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The team member may occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs. When lifting loads heavier than 50 pounds, it is required for two or more people to lift the load.
- Team member may be required to sit and/or work on feet for extended periods of time.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud.
- Team member may be required to work in varying temperatures and/or weather conditions.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock, vibration, paint, and various cleaning chemicals.
- Team member may be required to work more than 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings, and weekends as business demands.
