  • We are seeking a Business Analyst 5 for DTMB Agency Services, to support the Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Agency.
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work on a novel IT solution for issuing, analysing, and monitoring energy rebates. What you'll be doing...
  • Serving as the liaison between DTMB and project stakeholders - Providing expert facilitation, elicitation, and process modelling to develop strategy and requirements for future enhancements and related work projects
  • Participating in various related work requests for EGLE and contributing to the operational activities of the BA team
  • Championing Agency compliance with DTMB policies and practices - Analysing original requirements/user stories in comparison to needs identified in discovery sessions and/or UAT cycles, and defining potential changes, including impact analysis.

  • A minimum of 12 years of general BA experience - Strong facilitation skills and experience with requirements elicitation/testing and system configuration
  • Ability to quickly gain a working understanding of applicable constraints and enablers Confidence in building relationships and flexibility to adapt to changing needs and/or direction
  • Experience with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems
  • Familiarity with industry standard (including Legacy, Core, and Emerging technologies), business process mapping, and reengineering
  • This position may include remote work, but candidate should plan to be available to report to a Lansing, MI job location in accordance with State of Michigan return to office guidelines.
