Job Description

We are seeking a Customer Success Specialist to join our dedicated team of energy and technology experts. The successful candidate will act as a technical advisor to customers, and be responsible for customer accounts, onboarding processes, support, and other duties. This position allows an individual to build foundational experience in customer success while developing midstream and downstream energy knowledge with many opportunities to grow.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment on a small, but rapidly growing team, with many shared and evolving responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director of Customer Success with customer onboarding and daily support activities.
  • Manage a portfolio of client accounts to drive marketplace adoption, facilitate connectivity between buyers and sellers, and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Assist the Sales team by calling prospective and current customers to drive engagement and guide customer onboarding.
  • Triage and manage incoming support tickets while escalating as appropriate.
  • Provide platform demos to new customers.
  • Monitor current customers to track adoption and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with the maintenance and creation of customer training materials.
  • Contribute to the expansion of Customer Success while also remaining highly flexible in a startup environment.
  • Provide customer feedback to the Director of CS and product team as a means to improve our developing platform.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Customer Success or customer-facing role, experience within the energy industry a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex customer journeys at once.
  • Demonstrable technical aptitude with an intermediate Excel skillset at minimum, able to comfortably diagnose formula errors, and utilize VLOOKUP and other advanced functions or methods as needed.
  • A strong aptitude for new technologies, and the ability to quickly diagnose needs and identify solutions.
  • CRM experience, specifically in Hubspot a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • An organized, detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a curiosity to learn about the energy industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required with relevant previous experience.
