Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic Job Description Our team is seeking a skilled Aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic to work on a Piper PA-42 Cheyenne for a 4-6 month contract. Candidates will be responsible for sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7am to 4:30pm. Responsibilities Perform sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installations, and modifications on aircraft. Read and interpret engineering drawings. Utilize hand and power tools for various tasks. Conduct structural modifications on aircraft. Ensure all tools are etched and inventoried. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in Aircraft Sheet Metal/Structures. Proficiency in sheet metal fabrication, assembly, installation, and modification. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience with various types of aircraft sheet metal work. Possession of own tools, etched and inventoried. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with structural modifications, aircraft assembly, and rivet work. Familiarity with MRO, Repair Stations, P145, P121, commercial aircraft, regional jets, helicopters, and corporate jets. Why Work Here?
