The Warehouse Receiving Coordinator is an important role within the company, that inputs all order information for stock and special-order items into the retail system and ensures received items are handled appropriately. The role interacts with many different departments and individuals within the company, and is a main contact for vendors on incoming products. In addition, this role is responsible for ensuring all products ordered are faultless and tagged correctly.

Responsibilities:

  • Order entry: Enter all orders placed into the retail system.
  • Order Processing: Receiving all items into the retail system. Ensure items are sent to correct location/customer upon receiving.
  • Product: Verify all items are tagged/marked correctly according to current pricing strategy.
  • Communication: Maintains Fluid communication between various departments within the company as well as the vendors.
  • Warehouse Inspection: Ensures items arriving are in pristine condition and handling items that are not directly with vendor.

Requirements:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using computers and other needed technology
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance and urgency
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to thrive in a high stress environment
  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Ability to problem solve effectively and efficiently

*Experience with Microsoft Office and other retail systems preferred.
