Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Required Qualifications: Graduate of a program in cardiac echocardiography approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association or Completed equivalent training through self-study, on-the-job training, etc. National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire. Or National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: Successful completion of national certification examinations in cardiac echocardiography, color doppler and stress testing conducted by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers upon hire.
