Job Title: Hydraulic Assembler - Weekend

Job Description

This position involves assembling and installing components and subassemblies onto equipment being manufactured using various methods such as drilling, tapping, punching, machining, wiring, plumbing (hard line and hose), and testing the equipment according to design specifications. The role is solely responsible for testing and ensuring quality installation of hydraulics box and coordination of the system for a working unit.

Responsibilities

  • Review Job Master Work Authorizations, Drawings, Notes, and Change Orders to ensure compliance with specifications.

  • Coordinate work in progress with other personnel as required, including on-coming personnel during shift changes.

  • Perform mechanical assembly using power tools and hand tools.

  • Read and interpret blueprints to guide assembly processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hydraulic systems.

  • Work with heavy equipment and ensure operational testing of completed assemblies.

Essential Skills

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent).

  • Hydraulics background in a manufacturing environment.

  • Three years of practical experience in assembling heavy machinery/equipment.

  • Ability to perform technical tasks using normal tools for equipment assembly.

  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow drawings/blueprints.

  • Strong assembly background and troubleshooting skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in the layout, termination, and connection of wiring and plumbing.

  • Experience in the layout and installation of mechanical equipment.

  • Ability to perform operational testing and repair modifications if required.

  • Ability to maintain high-quality effort in a rapid-paced environment.

  • Effective tool management skills.

  • Exposure to hydraulic oils and the ability to climb, stoop, and work at heights while harnessed.

Work Environment

Work in a large production environment of heavy equipment. Weekend shift: Friday-Sunday, 5am-5pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Post Falls, Idaho.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
