We are currently seeking a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) fluent in English and Russian to join our team.

Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual LCSW to provide support to our neurology patients. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Russian, able to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, and committed to offering services that improve patients' quality of life. This role involves providing counseling, support, and education to patients and their families as they navigate neurological conditions and treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide counseling and support to patients and families dealing with neurological conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, migraines, and neurodegenerative disorders.
  • Perform assessments to identify patients' emotional, social, and psychological needs.
  • Develop individualized care plans and offer guidance on coping strategies for managing neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, healthcare professionals, and the care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on available community resources, support groups, and healthcare options.
  • Assist patients in navigating treatment plans, medication management, and understanding medical diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing training to improve service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution preferably
  • Current New Jersey LCSW license in good standing.
  • Fluency in both English and Russian (verbal and written) is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a healthcare or outpatient setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse patient populations.
  • Knowledge of neurological conditions and their impact on patients and families is a plus.
