This position is responsible for coordinating, staging and installation for products within the Hospitality business; HN (Hospitality Network) ACS (Advanced Convention Services) and BPRF (Blueprint RF). Partners with stakeholders to meet key deliverables throughout the life cycle of all installations.

Cox Communications is a leading provider of digital cable television, telecommunications, and home automation services. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, Cox Communications offers high-speed internet, digital telephone, and home security services to residential customers and businesses. We're currently looking for talented individuals to join our team.

We created Blueprint RF for one reason: Hospitality WiFi. We saw an industry need and worked to solve that problem with our entrepreneurial spirit. And after seeing our customized WiFi network solutions, the nation's leading hotel brands began choosing Blueprint RF as their managed WiFi network provider.

This is a 12-month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Shift/Hours

  • This is a fully onsite role in Las Vegas, NV
  • Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Potential for night and weekend hours depending on business needs
Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Project Support Specialist - Hospitality Staging:
  • Document receipt of equipment and purchase orders in Oracle and/or Salesforce
  • Track materials received through a complete lifecycle with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance to Receiving
  • Assist in research of invoice discrepancies (e.g. investigates invoices that do not match purchase orders), ensuring appropriate coding and validating expected
  • Review project Engineering Work Packages (EWP), Building Order Materials (BOM), and Construction field notes to determine workforce required for successful deployment
  • Conduct weekly reporting activities
  • Willingness to pivot to support cross functional teams i.e.: Hospitality Network, Blueprint RF, Convention Services, etc.
  • Schedule will align with business needs and could include after hours, nights, and weekends
Minimum Qualifications

Qualifications of the Project Support Specialist - Hospitality Staging:
  • High school diploma / GED required
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in hospitality, convention, or supply chain management
  • Project coodinatation / management experience
  • Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and collaborative skills to work effectively throughout the organization
  • Ability to work indepdently
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • A valid state driver's license with diriving record that meets Cox standards
  • Able to identify key barriers/core problems and apply problem-solving skills to deal creatively with complex situations
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule as business needs dictate
  • Ability to travel overnight(s) as business needs dictate
Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications of the Project Support Specialist - Hospitality Staging:
  • AS/AA or Technical Certification in related discipline strongly desired (i.e., Business, Accounting, Supply Chain)
  • Experience working in Supply Chain, Procurement or Warehousing
  • Experience using Oracle or related accounting tools
Workplace Environment
  • Ability to climb ladders and/or utility poles and work in in high places, such as catwalks and rooftops.
  • Ability to work in small places, such as crawl spaces.
  • Ability to tolerate typical commercial controlled work environments and uncontrolled weather-related heat and cold for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions and varying topographic, wet, dry, and hot locations.
  • Navigate safely in environments where loud sounds are present, i.e., horns, forklift horns, vehicle reverse warning.
  • Navigate safely in environments where large and fast-moving freight and freight equipment is commonly used i.e., warehouse, convention floor load in / load out.
Pay Range
  • $24 - $26 per hour (Paid Weekly)
