Job Description

This is a consulting company that develops technical solutions for their clients in the military and aerospace industry. They deliver software tools specializing in the area of technical data, maintenance, logistics, and more. This team consists of skilled software developers and US Veterans.

They are looking for a Backend Software Engineer who can develop, implement and support the backend for complex, scalable, secure java-based web applications using the latest frameworks, languages and tools. This role requires candidates to be local to Georgia and as they are on a hybrid schedule.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong Development skills with Java and Kotlin (coroutines)
  • Understanding of API Design, Multithreading, and Data Structures
  • Experience working with Angular or React
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Related Field
  • Must be a US Citizen

Nice to Have
  • Experience in Big Data
  • Government/Military Consulting Experience
  • Able to use AWS or other Cloud based service
  • Experience with REST APIs
