You will play a key role in this mission by joining the Technology Development engineers with multiple tasks involving the subfields of Robotic Theory, Control Systems, Electronic Systems, Mechanical Systems and Computer Science. Through this position, you will design, analyze, and test autonomy systems as they apply to our industry.

YOUR IMPACT

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop control systems using ROS 2, Parker IQAN or other relevant software development kits.

  • Prepare and perform tests in simulated environments such as Gazebo.

  • Develop finite state machines and behavior trees.

  • Design electrical schematics and build prototype harnesses.

  • Prepare concepts using CREO or other CAD software.

  • Perform system and subsystem level testing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Student perusing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering field with relevant Autonomy or Robotics research experience

  • 3.0 GPA or higher.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of various degrees of information.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate student with research focusing on computer vision, autonomy, mechatronics, computer science or robotic theory.

  • Enjoys hands on work environment using electromechanical diagnostics skillset.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while prioritizing workload.

  • Flexible and adaptable to working under tight deadlines and/or changing needs.

  • Experience working with Controller Area Network (CAN) and the J1939 protocol.

  • Experience working with various ethernet protocols.

Pay Range:

$18.00 - $37.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
