ATC Healthcare Services - Metro Detroit is seeking temporary social worker for fill positions in a child and adolescent in-patient psychiatric facility. This position will be 5-10 hours per week. 

Walter Reuther Psychiatric Hospital – Child and Adolescent Division (formerly Hawthorn Center) is seeking a part-time, contractual social worker to conduct the psychosocial assessments required at intake.  A Master’s degree in clinical social work is preferred, however Bachelor’s level applicants with assessment skills will be considered.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.  Experience with trauma, severe mental illness, and understanding diagnostic criteria are preferred.  Applicants will report to the manager of social work and coordinate with staff psychologists, social workers, nurses and psychiatrists regarding hospital admissions and continued patient care.  A social worker in this position may also be asked to provide coverage in other areas of patient care such as visitation, group therapy, and case management.

Requirement:

BSW (required) or MSW **Preferred**

Licensed in the State of Michigan

Compensation: $53 per hour
