Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Technician/Veterinary Technician to join the team at our successful clinic for full-time. (Must have your RVT or in the process of acquiring your RVT) Park Hill Vet is a team-driven veterinary practice offering high-touch care for our patients in a high-tech environment. Looking for a skilled veterinary technician who enjoys working with clients and patients to provide personalized, quality care. We are also AAHA-accredited Must like a fast-paced environment with fun and funny co-workers. Experience with Idexx and Cornerstone are a huge plus. You will work closely with the entire clinic staff to ensure the health and well-being of all of our pet patients. If you are passionate about providing exceptional animal care, we’d like to meet you

Responsibilities

Triage pets as they arrive at the clinic

Interview pet owners to obtain a patient history

Take vital signs and acquire blood samples

Induce and monitor patients under anesthesia

Assist with surgeries and perform competent dental cleanings

Experienced in taking digital dental radiographs

Administer medications and provide at-home dosage instructions for clients

Keep accurate digital patient records

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role

Knowledge of animal care and handling

Excellent communication skills

Ability to multi-task and remain organized in a busy environment

Patience and a love for animals
