Mount Sinai South Nassau provides a salary range in good faith determination of potential compensation to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.

Position Summary

Summary:
Under the direction of the Clinical Director, a Lead Technologist performs laboratory analysis and may direct technical functions in the absence of the Supervisor.

Qualifications

Responsibilities:
Education Required
• Must complete in-house orientation program
• B.S. degree in Medical Technology or related field

Experience And Skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Speaks, reads and writes English
• Minimum of 6 years experience in Medical Technology field.

License/Certifications
• NYS Department of Education Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
