- Specialty Services: Orthopedic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgery, General Surgery including colorectal and bariatric specialists, ENT, Urology, GYN including a pelvic pain surgical specialist, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Critical Care, Palliative Care, and Podiatry

- Open 24 hours per day, seven days a week
- ED renovation to be completed in August 2024
- Sentara Martha Jefferson Emergency Services is also capable of treating a wider range of urgent and emergent medical conditions, including respiratory distress, head injuries, abdominal pain, dehydration, orthopedic injuries (fractures), sports injuries and lacerations (cuts requiring sutures)

- Clinicians work both at main hospital and Sentara Martha Jefferson Outpatient Care Center at Proffit Road

- 9 physician/APP daily hospitalist team
- Team approach model with Hospitalist and Emergency Department under one Integrated Acute Care Director
