Structural Design Engineer job description:

We are hiring for a company that was founded to provide sound, practical design services for livestock-related projects, to offer solutions before complex issues became a problem. From that initial vision, we have grown to provide services in multiple business sectors, including Commercial and Industrial projects. Our staff has over 50 years of combined experience in building design and construction management. Our services include master planning, project coordination, budgeting, and structural and architectural engineering. Design Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Conceive and develop structural designs from initial concepts, sketches, and other data, translating them into comprehensive design drafts.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with a team of architects and engineers, ensuring synergy in all projects.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate structural materials, suggesting innovative construction techniques.
  • Review and modify existing designs to optimize efficiency and safety.
  • Attend and contribute to project meetings, effectively presenting designs to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Stay updated on evolving industry trends and standards.
  • Adhere to project timelines while ensuring design integrity and quality.
