Job Description
Job Title: Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Specialist

Job Specialty: RRT-NICU

Job Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Night 2x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified

Experience: Minimum of 2 years required

License: Must have a valid IN or compact license

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP

Must-Have: Cerner experience required

Job Description:
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Shift Requirements: 2x12, Holiday coverage and every other weekend required.
- Floating Required: May be required to float to surrounding facilities.
- Skillset Requirements: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery, NICU, Pediatrics.
- Expertise in airway management including endotracheal tube/suctioning, extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, oral airway placement, tracheostomy/suctioning.
- Ability to set up aerosol masks and trach, as well as manage nebulizers (heated, trach collar).
- Vent management including BiPAP, CPAP, and weaning from mechanical ventilation.
- O2 Therapy expertise, particularly high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC).
- Neonatal/Pediatrics: Assist in high-risk deliveries, CPAP/Nasal CPAP/BiPAP, Oscillating Ventilator.
- Must be flexible to float between high-risk deliveries, NICU II, Adult acute care, and ER based on facility needs.
- The role involves floating to meet the needs and skillset required at arrival.
- Best fit would be candidates with adult and labor & delivery experience.
- Flu Vaccine Required; Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.
- Provide two supervisor references from previous roles.
