Radiologic Technologist Job Summary:
  • MLR is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join a dynamic team at a well-established facility in Northern Illinois. In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging exams to assist in diagnosing patient conditions and injuries. Your responsibilities will include operating radiologic equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring that all images meet high-quality standards. You will collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver accurate and timely imaging results.
Responsibilities for a Radiologic Technologist:
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Position patients correctly and administer contrast materials when necessary.
  • Ensure equipment is in working order and perform routine maintenance.
  • Follow protocols to obtain high-quality images and maintain patient records.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with physicians to review and interpret imaging results.
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and radiation protection measures.
  • Participate in continuing education and stay updated on advancements in imaging technology.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, including patient confidentiality.
Radiologic Technologist Job Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Illinois State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (IEMA).
  • Experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating radiologic equipment and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
