Job Summary

Our Claims team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer This individual will play a crucial role in designing and developing integrations using Cloud Technologies for our new claims system (Guidewire ClaimCenter). *This Person must be located within driving distance to our West Bend or Madison, WI office and willing to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days/week onsite) - NOT open to remote candidates*

Responsibilities & Qualifications

.NET API development.

Automated unit, integration, and regression testing.

CI/CD pipelines to build, test, deploy and release code to the cloud.

Continuous advocacy of technical craftsmanship and preferred/best practices.

Review and oversight of peer proposals and solutions.

Lead the design and development of software applications and systems related to claims processing, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Utilize your expertise in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# to build scalable and maintainable solutions.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team. Collaborate with other software engineers to drive innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Contribute to the design and architecture of claims processing systems, considering factors such as performance, scalability, and security.

Document software designs, technical specifications, and implementation details to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • 6+ years of professional experience software development.
  • Detail oriented
  • Analytical and systematic approach to solving/solutioning problems

Practical Experience With One Or More Of The Following:

  • Microsoft Azure.

  • .NET microservices.

  • Event driven design.

  • C#

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
