WHO OUR CLIENT IS:
Search Solution Group is looking for the ideal candidate for our client who is an electronic manufacturing company that designs and manufactures printed circuit board assembly.

The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills, an ability to mentor junior engineers, and contribute significantly to product innovation and development strategies. This position is remote hybrid with occasional work at our engineering design center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as needed. Work is performed in an ISO9001:2015 environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
• Lead and develop complex firmware solutions for advanced embedded systems.
• Design and implement control systems and motor control algorithms.
• Guide and mentor associate engineers in firmware development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align firmware design with overall product strategy.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in software design, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Strong capability to work effectively as part of a remote team.
• Proficient with embedded toolchains (e.g., GCC, IAR, Code Warrior).
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and creativity.
• Proven track record of successful firmware development projects.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Expertise in model-based design and simulation.
• Proficiency in C, C++, .NET, Java, or Web programming.
• Deep understanding of 32-bit microcontrollers, FPGA design, and soft-core processors.
• Experience with Serial Communications protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART).
