As an Advanced Server Software Engineer, you’ll perform software requirements analysis and design.  You will develop and test server-based software to include development of new work products or enhancing existing applications, systems, or embedded products. We will rely on your experience and knowledge to solve the hardest technical problems facing the company, often requiring the utmost creativity and innovation. What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of modern C++ programming
  • Strong understanding of Object Oriented Design/Programming
  • Strong understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
  • Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems
  • Basic understanding of Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) programming techniques
  • Proficient knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting and scripting

What distinguishes you from others:

  • Experience implementing algorithms on GPUs using CUDA
  • Experience in Digital Signal Processing and/or communication theory
  • Experience with Agile software development
  • Experience leading programs/projects with Agile/Scrum tools and techniques
  • Exposure to Git

One last thing:
