Position Title: Datacenter Manager

Duration: 6-12 month contract + extensions (up to 3+ years)

Location: Secaucus, NJ. Occasional travel to sites in Newark, NJ

Rate Range: 55-64HR

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking for a highly qualified Data Center Manager for their Fortune 500 financial client in the NJ/NYC area. This resource will be responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of a 24 * 7 data center. These operations include hiring, time tracking, leadership and culture building. The ability to stay calm cool and collected in hectic situations and motivate team members to work responsibility and safely. They will need to travel occasionally to the different offices but the primary location will be in Secaucus NJ.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Enterprise level experience working as a Data Center Manager

-Ability to oversee current operations and new project initiatives directed from the business units

-Responsible for ensuring safety, quality and turnover deadlines

-Understanding of network requests and requirements, strong technical background
