Key Responsibilities:

  • This is a Senior position that requires strong leadership, self-initiative and drive, and deep technical acumen to lead and deliver on critical projects and meet commitments.

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation solutions to streamline deployment, configuration, and management of infrastructure and applications.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Ansible, Azure DevOps, and other automation frameworks.

  • Implement and manage the Ansible automation platform for configuration management, orchestration, and application deployment.

  • Design and implement automated server deployment pipelines to provision, configure, and manage servers efficiently.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and develop scalable solutions to meet business needs.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, deployments, and infrastructure performance.

  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, and automation technologies.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Automation Engineer or related role.

  • Strong proficiency in Ansible for configuration management and automation.

  • Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

  • Solid understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive resolution.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of overall experience in DevOps automation.

  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging solutions such as Elastic, and Grafana.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.

  • Certification in DevOps or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).

  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
