Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify parts are manufactured according to blueprint specifications, maintaining stringent quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
  • Provide necessary tooling and gauges as requested by programmers or machinists, facilitating smooth operations.
  • Initiate requests for quotes to procure essential tools and materials for production.
  • Collaborate in setting up bore gauges and other precision measuring instruments for accurate assessments.
  • Maintain comprehensive reports for parts requiring rework or failing quality assurance, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Utilize Excel spreadsheets proficiently for data organization and analysis.
  • Complete detailed inspection reports to document quality control processes accurately.
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills to foster a collaborative work environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role within manufacturing or machining industries preferred.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
