Position Part-Time potentially Full-time Responsibilities -Preparing exam rooms and cleaning ocular equipment -Greeting patients, answering questions, and take personal and family medical histories - Pre-testing patients (performing diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, depth perception, measuring pressure inside of the eye, color vision and pupil reflexes and administering eye drops -Instructing patients in inserting and caring for contact lenses as well as managing Contact lens inventory. -Booking appointments, preparing scheduled exams, and attending phone calls when necessary. -Assisting customers with frame selections and adjusting and repairing frames. Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent. . An Associate's degree in Medical Assisting preferred. An Optometric Assistant Certification may be a benefit. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. A strong attention to detail. The ability to multi-task.
