Automotive Account Manager

The Automotive Sales Manager will drive overall market growth, expand contacts, and implement strategic growth initiatives within the automotive industry. This role requires a deep knowledge of automotive electronics and components and a proven track record in sales. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who builds and maintains strong relationships with key clients. What You'll Do Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets and expand the customer base. Drive overall market growth by identifying new business opportunities and expanding the company's market presence. Manage and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients in the automotive industry. Expand contacts and build a robust network within the automotive electronics sector. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to ensure customer needs are met and exceeded. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential sales opportunities. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to clients. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the automotive market. Experience working with automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets. Willingness to travel as needed. Strong understanding of pricing strategies, margin optimization, and financial acumen. Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, QuickBase) and advanced Microsoft Excel data analysis and reporting skills. Proven ability to be a self-starter, grasp new concepts quickly, adapt to changing environments, and contribute effectively to team goals. What We Value Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. Strong knowledge of automotive electronics, including industry standards and technologies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills. Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
