ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team as a Senior Backend Engineer and play a crucial role in driving our organization's growth through the development of outstanding products. We're seeking a dynamic individual who can deliver state-of-the-art code while prioritizing performance and scalability. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate effectively while also demonstrating initiative and a passion for sharing innovative ideas.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • Working with state-of-the-art technology stack and deliver features in our microservice ecosystem.
  • Building, maintaining, developing, testing, deploying and enhancing our products and features.
  • Identifying obstacles to ensure quality and improve our user experience and how we build our products.
  • Working with product managers, architects, QA engineers and other developers in a highly collaborative agile environment.
  • Building for scale, availability, performance and security across the stack.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • 5+ years of software development experience, preferably in an agile environment
  • Hands-on experience developing highly scalable RESTful Microservices
  • Experience with Java frameworks or toolkits such as Spring Boot, Vert.x, Netty, Micrometer or Quarkus
  • Knowledge of both NoSQL databases, caching and messaging systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating technical decisions and offering valuable recommendations to the team

Salary range for this role is $145-160k
