We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for safeguarding our computer systems and networks, implementing robust security measures, and ensuring the overall integrity of our organization’s cyber security posture. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various cybersecurity technologies and tools, possess an understanding of cybersecurity best practices and have a proven track record of managing and mitigation security threats. If you are a highly motivated cybersecurity professional with a proven track record of securing IT environments and have one of the following IAT Level III certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNP, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH or CCSP and a Top-Secret SCI Security clearance, we encourage you to apply.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or a four-year equivalent training.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, or 8-10 years of relevant experience working with innovative technologies.
  • Hold at least one of the following IAT Level III certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNP, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH or CCSP.
  • Proficiency in cybersecurity technologies and tools, including Firewalls, VPN and Data Loss Prevention.
  • Solid understanding and knowledge of firewall management, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management.
  • In-depth understanding of incident response procedures, cybersecurity best practices and principals.
  • Familiarity with audit processes and the ability to support cybersecurity audits.
  • Familiarity with DoD RMF guidelines and experience implementing security controls.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to operate effectively across multiple priorities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • U.S. Citizen with an Active Top Secret SCI Security Clearance.
Job Duties:
  • Operate and manage firewall systems to protect the organization’s network infrastructure.
  • Implement and maintain Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) to detect and prevent security incidents.
  • Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to monitor, analyze, and respond to security events.
  • Lead vulnerability management efforts, identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
  • Conduct incident response activities to address and mitigate cybersecurity incidents.
  • Provide support for security audits and assessments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to continuously enhance the organization’s security posture.
