Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree is preferred, two years of college coursework required.
Network technology experience required.
Experience in a school setting preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Facilitates setup and use of Powerschool for administration, teachers, secretaries and nurses and all related trainings.
- Coordinates all State Student Information data and attends all relevant ISBE webinars (ISBE SIS, CRDC, etc.)
- Coordinates all assessment platforms (NWEA MAP, AIMSweb, Pearson, etc.)
- Coordinates all fee payments (RevTrak/Vanco)
- Coordinates all data exports and system configurations (ClassLink, etc.)
- Serves on District technology committee, providing input, implementation, and monitoring of the District Technology Plan.
- Assists in creation of registration tracking program, district documents and any other technology related District initiatives.
- Serves as a contact person and knowledgeable referral source for questions from students, staff, parents, and community members.
- Works with building principals and Technology Director to identify technology needs and associated expenses, as well as to ensure that hardware is properly maintained and repaired.
- Works cooperatively with students, parents, staff and community members to project a positive, service-oriented demeanor.
- Possesses knowledge of District policies and regulations relating to areas of responsibilities.
- Provides coordination of computer technology working with teachers, the Superintendent, principals, Technology Coordinator, and any technology committees.
- Installs and maintains up-to-date software inventories.
- Installs and maintains up-to-date computer hardware and accessories inventories.
- Supports staff and administration with hardware and software needs.
- Assists with maintenance of the District website.
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the Technology Director.
ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Attends staff meetings and serves on staff committees as required.
- Maintains professional competence through participation in District provided in-service activities and/or self-selected professional growth activities related to job responsibilities.
