Vaco Boston has partnered with a reputable fund administrator in the Northeast who is seeking a Director of Business Development.

Responsibilities:

· Perform consultative selling to build client relationships in existing and new accounts.

· Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets.

· Grow business by proactively researching, identifying and supporting sales opportunities.

· Establish strong working relationships with referral partners to enable a complete solution for clients.

· Cross-sell to existing and new clients with the goal to offer service & product capabilities.

· Build strategic relationships with key intermediaries measured against increasing the overall sales pipeline.

Essential Requirements

· 8+ years of sales experience plus experience working within fund administration.

· Strong consultative sales and a proven successful track record.

· Experience with private funds as well as familiarity with private equity operations and industry issues.

· Understanding of financial services outsourcing and technology solutions.
