POSITION SUMMARY

Diono, a leading juvenile products manufacturer based in Sumner, Washington, is looking for a Product Information Specialist to join our team. This is an on-site position in Seattle, WA with occasional travel to our corporate office in Sumner, WA. Passion, enthusiasm, and forward-thinking are shared amongst our team. This role ensures the publication of accurate information in our online marketplaces. To maintain product data consistency and ensure that all product information is accurate throughout the product lifecycle, to include product specifications, pricing, images, and descriptions. Responsible for coordinating, managing and updating all content across an organization's online marketing presence. May be responsible for editing and auditing website content, working closely with design, sales and marketing staff to maintain company standards with regard to product and information and overall brand strategy. This role reports to the Head of Sales & Business Development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with product management, sales, graphics, and other relevant departments to provide updated content for assigned accounts to be shared across eCommerce platforms.
  • Integrating the PIM (Salsify) system with the existing technological ecosystem (e.g., ERP and CRM).
  • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of account-specific SEO best practices, pricing policies, media assets, inventory and/or pre-orders.
  • Creation & management of item set up within external sites & portals.
  • Having the ability to multi-task, prioritize and successfully meet several deadlines at once while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Possessing a strong knowledge of the eCommerce space including competitive strategies, marketing strategies, product development, consumer research, usability best practices and industry trends.
  • Using Spreadsheets or Excel (pivot tables, vlookups etc) in addition to web analytics to stay organized and monitor changes in product sales and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Creating and managing business rules, processes and workflows directly in the PIM system to support standard work and quality improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain product listings across a variety of e-commerce marketplaces, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Analyze sales data and generate reports to track performance, identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously optimize the marketplace platform, including user experience, navigation, and search functionality, to enhance customer satisfaction and drive conversion rates.

  • Computer literate, with the ability to utilize standard software applications and be proficient in Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, logistics, supply chain, or technical business administration, or related experience.
  • The ability to understand the market and make informed decisions about product development.

SUMMARY OF BENEFITS

Benefits are effective the 1st of the month following 30 days from hire date for the employee. Diono offers a generous PTO accrual of 4 weeks per year and six paid holidays, plus a Diono Day (one personal holiday). This position requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate phones, computers, and other office equipment. This person must communicate clearly using the English language to accurately convey information and be able to hear at normal speaking levels both in person and over the telephone. Generally good working conditions with little or no exposure to extremes in noise or temperature. Little or no safety/health hazards. Some lifting or climbing; work performed in an office and warehouse setting. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
